Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy for domestic orders, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for US and China. Other regions are not eligible due to CITES/cost.  

Domestic Returns (United States)
- Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your ginseng products must be unopened, in their original sealed packaging, and in the same condition that you received them. Opened consumables, custom orders, clearance items, and gift cards cannot be returned.
- How to Request a Return: To start a return, contact us at drginseng@marathonginseng.com with your order number.
- Shipping & Instructions: If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise communicated or if the return is due to an error on our part. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

China Delivery

Items shipped to China from the US or from our China warehouse are eligible for return/exchanges/refund with prior approval to our China operations. Please contact us at drginseng@marathonginseng.com for details.

Other International Orders (No Returns or Exchanges)
Due to strict international trade regulations under CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora), mandatory export documentation, customs clearance protocols, and high shipping costs, all international sales are final. We cannot accept returns, process exchanges, or issue refunds for orders shipped outside the United States. Please ensure order accuracy and verify your country's personal import rules prior to ordering.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at drginseng@marathonginseng.com if an item is defective, damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong product, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges (Domestic Only)
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to request a return for the unopened item, and once accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your domestic return to confirm whether the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please reach out to us at drginseng@marathonginseng.com.
