Wisconsin-grown ginseng is carefully cultivated over a 7-8 year period, starting with one to two years of meticulous land preparation, followed by a year of seed stratification, and culminating in five full years of growth. This extensive process ensures that each ginseng root develops the rich, potent qualities that make Wisconsin ginseng so highly prized.
